I was on my way to the Delhi airport. There was a lot of traffic at one point. The car stopped on the roadside.

I saw two vendors one was selling fruit the other was selling coconut water.

What caught my attention was not what they were selling but how they were selling it. 

Both had a QR code prominently displayed. And every single customer walked up to them scanning this QR code and paid for their purchase every single one of them.

To me this is a picture of today's India it shows three developments. 

One is financial inclusion. Both the vendors had a bank

account linked to their mobile phone number. 

Two is internet or mobile penetration what we call digital India.

It was 15% 9 years back 

it's 48 % today.

Number three is the airport traffic it

just keeps swelling even though we are at the receiving end.

We see what it shows from 67 million 9 years back to almost double now.

To me these things signify the path that India is on.

On one hand, justice system is critical for a better nation. Providing law and order to citizens. It's important for citizens to be patriotic, to be caring, helpful and kind to others. With a commitment and passion to provide justice. At the same time there are people who are misusing the power of law, to manipulate with the justice system. Recently I was betrayed by an advocate, who is supposed to provide justice to others by profession.

Advocate Mr Kunal Sharma has betrayed me. This person who is supposed to provide justice is doing injustice himself. Such people are a curse to this great nation.

professor Vinod Menon, 

was sent a cardboard box.  

It had USD 1,80,000 inside.

Menon initially thought that it was some kind of a memento sent by a former student, but was surprised to open the box to find stacks of $50 and $100 bills totalling upto $1,80,000.  

1,80,000 United States Dollar equals: 1,34,92,278.00 Indian Rupee. 

One crore 30 lacks. 

An unsigned letter in the package explained the mystery to some extent. The donor had apparantly graduated from the City College long ago. He had a double major in physics and mathematics, then got an MA in physics at the college and went on to get a double PhD in physics and astronomy.  

The letter specifically asked for the money to be used to help junior and senior students who needed financial support in completing their double majors in physics and maths. 

Even though seeing the money was a shock, the letter filled him with pride and happiness because it proved one thing: He actually made a difference in someone's life. 

Menon called the Dean of Sciences immediately when he realised how much money they had. They contacted the campus police and the department that handles gifts and first ensured that the money did not come from crime. Authorities like the school investigators, NYPD, US Postal Service, the FBI and the Department of Treasury determined the money was clean. 

The department will now honour the donor's wish by giving out two full-tuition scholarships each year. As tuition costs about $7,500 per year, the gift will fund the scholarships for a decade. 

The board was ecstatic and grateful for the gift because of two reasons: 

(1) 

The decision that the college was the right place to invest money in, was overwhelming.  

(2) 

The college had actually helped someone create a wonderful career. 

Isn't it wonderful to give back to your alma mater?
